SEARCH FOR NLPSC PRESIDENCY is now open


NOTICE OF SEARCH AND CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The NORTH LUZON PHILIPPINES STATE COLLEGE (NLPSC) Board of Trustees, formally and publicly announces that the SEARCH FOR THE PRESIDENCY is now open.

Applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications –
1.      Not less than thirty-five (35) years old and not more than sixty-one (61) years old at the time of application for the position.
2.      A natural-born Filipino citizen.
3.      Holder of an earned doctorate degree from a reputable higher education institution.
4.      Proven track record as administrator preferably in the academe, whether in public or private HEIs, for at least five (5) years.
5.      For candidates who have not previously served as SUC President, he/she must not have been convicted of any administrative or of any crime involving moral turpitude, wherein the penalty is more than six (6) months.
6.      Incumbent Presidents of other SUCs, whose term is set to expire within the six (6) months period of the Search Process, shall be allowed to file/submit his/her application for this vacant president post.


Interested applicants must submit seven (7) sets/copies (one (1) set of original, and six (6) sets of certified photocopies) of the following documentary requirements
1.      Formal Application Letter addressed to the CHED Chairperson:

2.      Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), notarized and signed under oath.
3.      Certified true copy of documents in support of the data stated in the CV.
4.      Proposed Vision, Mission and Development Goals for the College.
5.      Original Copies of Certificates/Clearances from the following government agencies, obtained not more than three (3) months from the date of filing of the application, indicating that the applicant has no pending administrative and/or criminal case:
a.       Sandiganbayan
b.      Civil Service Commission (CSC)
c.       National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)
d.      Ombudsman (for government employees)
e.       Municipal/Regional Trial Court
f.       Institution/Company where the applicant is presently employed
6.      NSO-authenticated Birth Certificate
7.      Medical Certificate of Physical Fitness, including drug test clearance, issued by a government physician from an institution other than the same institution where the applicant is presently employed.
8.      Results of Neuro-psychiatric Examination conducted by a government physician from an institution other than the same institution where the applicant is presently employed.
9.      Duly accomplished CSC Form 212, notarized and made under oath.




An applicant who does not meet any of the abovementioned minimum qualifications and cannot submit supporting documents pertinent to these minimum qualifications shall be disqualified from the Search Process.

Deadline for submission of application documents shall be on December 23, 2011 (Friday), at 5:00p.m.
